The last 3 weeks, Ryan has been away training and ive been on my lonesome. First time since moving to Darwin and I was a bit concerned about my safety, boredom and eating when bored. So far my safety has not been compromised, I really haven't been bored which means I havent been eating unnecessarily- Yay to me. The first couple of nights were a bit scary but its all good now. Jacksons been sleeping inside every couple of nights and he has been super good. He sleeps all day and then can sleep all night. I want to be like him. I feel I have been soooooooooooo busy you know. All my friends up here have been super awesome. Having me over for dinner and inviting me to the movies- here -there -everywhere. I really need a break!
This week is going to be NOOOOOOOO DIFFERENT.
Tonight- Zumba
Tomorrow night- Hash
Thursday night- Zumba or Trivia with hash at the pub
Plus i go to the gym 4 times a week and 2 times on the weekend- good thing is ive lost almost 6kgs in the last 7 weeks!! woot wooot
Then i want to have a couple of my girlfriends over because they have been looking after me ( they are mums of kids around 17) and I call them my Darwin mums. So i have to fit that in.
I thought 4 weeks would go real slow but its flown. He is due back next Friday- not long now!!
Since we last spoken the banana tree broke in the middle of the main stalk. The flower got too heavy and snapped. I was devastated! But i got some rope and tied it all up. They look like they are still growing but im not sure. Have to wait it out. I poured down rain last Friday night for about 20 minutes. I was watching TV in bed and heard it. Sounded sooo nice.. Havent seen any rain since. Its the build up at the moment and one day its going to get super muggy and wam bam thank you mam- its the wet season. Totally cant wait. Massive storms and heaps of rain. Everything will turn green and just be beautiful. Might even a get a cyclone. Fingers crossed we dont.
Work has been super good. I have been offered a full time position in the Quality Assurance office. Will be a great learning opportunity and im really excited to get in there. I think i will start there full time in a couple of weeks. For once I can say I really enjoy my job. I loved working at the pharmacy- so its a Darwin-i really enjoy my job.
Something else that has happened is, i mastered the application of liquid eyeliner. I have wanted to do it for years but never got around to teaching myself. I use a pencil on the bottom but liquid on the top of the lid and it looks awesome. Sometimes i leave the pencil off the bottom and it sorta opens my eyes a bit more. I love makeup and am soo excited to show Ryan when he gets back. He hasnt seen me with liquid eyeliner before..
I also found an awesome take away place. Its called Wild Burger.. My friend Mel and I go there at least once a week for lunch and get prawn wrap. Soo yummy and only $7.50 They are big wraps too. They shouldnt be too fattening. But all the same its nice as.
And on a very interesting note- I sold our home gym yesterday. Ry asked me to try sell it while he was away. They came to pick it up and i was expecting a meathead to come to the door but an old man came and said that the guy Jason that i sold it too was in the car and had trouble getting out because he was a bit disabled. So i went to the car to say hi and say thanks for buying it. There Jason was, struggling to get out of the car. He said he broke is NECK! and needs the machine for rehab. You could tell that he uses weights every day because his arms were very shaped and had mussels. He obviously had brain damaged but i was soo impressed because he got inside and started helping his dad and brother pull apart this machine. He was also very smart- all of them were. Im happy the home gym didnt get bought by some douche bag wanting bigger guns. I havent told Ryan about it so when he gets home thats another surprise! Liquid eyeliner and no home gym in the spare room! yaya

Bananas ba na na s
I was super excited to discover last weekend, that the Banana tree in our back yard has started to grow bananas! They look like the lady finger ones but might suprise me and be the bigger ones. I dont care what they are, im just excited. At the moment there are about 25 and you can see on the photo that there are more sprouting at the bottom. Hopefully they will grow and we can eat them. They are probably 10-12cms long so far and very hard.
To be honest I thought the tree was dead and a couple of weeks ago I cleaned the garden and pulled all the dead leaves off and cleared around the base. Maybe thats exactly what it needed. Ive been talking to a few people about it and they said it will take like months for them to fully grow and ripen, so the wait is on. And im not going to cover them or anything. I hope I dont lose any. Just hope Jackson doesnt like bananas. I dont think he will eat them. But you never know with him.
Our neighbour has a banana tree on the other side of the fence, right next to ours. Turns out he planted them both years and years ago and 1 grew on our side. His tree has never given bananas and ours have a few times over the years. So once they ripen, ill go give him a bunch.

'A memorable collection'
It was my birthday over a month ago and my beautiful friend Jade sent me this book, among other things. When I opened the package she sent, and I saw this i was so excited. I have read a handfull of Haruki Murakami's books and loved them so I was thrilled to add another to my collection. I am one to judge a book by its cover and I love the look of these books so much, thats why I started reading them. Shallow I know, but after reading the first I was hooked. I first saw them on Jade and Josh's bookcase and there were a few so i thought, well if Jade and Josh are reading them, i probably should to.. couldnt hurt. Im determined to read them all.
Birthday Stories is a collection of stories from all different authors and they are all based on birthdays. They arent all happy stories leaving you all warm and fuzzy inside. Most of them have you thinking long afterwards trying to figure it out. Im guessing that was Haruki's intension.

Darwin is attractive
Hello,
The last couple of weeks we have had Ryans parents up. Rod and Lyne have been travelling in their caravan starting from Altona Meadows and have reached Darwin. They are planning to stay up here for atleast another few weeks and then head back home. There is so much to do, im sure they wont get bored.. Ive shown a few different people around and i keep finding new things every time- lots of attractions
We took them to the museum, here are some photos.
This beasts name is Sweetheart. It was huge. When Sweetheart was caught she was shot with a tranquiliser and it worked. But while they were trying to figure out how to get her into the boat and on land she was kept in the water. Crocodiles can stay until water for months without moving so they didnt see this as a problem. Except the tranquiliser stopped something in her body which allows her not to drown. And she drowned =-( Now she is on display at the muesum and she is massive.. A few weeks ago a croc maybe a tiny be smaller was seen on a crocodile jumping cruise. When you are here you will have to go on one.
This portriat is called "Power Couple". I like their pants and the colours. Pretty cool
This piece is called "Dont judge a book by its cover" Its completely made out of book pages. It was soo pretty. I wasnt supposed to be taking photos but it was just so awesome. The museum also has a Cyclone Tracy exibition. It has heaps of photos of before and after the cyclone hit and it also has a black dark room, where you stand and listen to a real recording of a christmas eve mass. You can hear just how loud the cyclone was, it was freaky as.. Another great attraction.

Chad the mail/space man
Here at my new job, there is an old man who has been here for years and years and years. He knew the original owners of Perkins. Mr Perkins. His name is Chad and he does the mail run and fills the loos with toilet paper and stuff. Old man jobs. He must be 80 odd.
He comes in every morning and asks " having fun in the sandbox this morning ladies?" We say yes and he moves on and says it to the next office. Quite a cheerful old man. My manager warned me that if I got him talking he wouldnt stop and up until this morning i just said hi and got on with my work.
This morning my manager was out and I asked Chad what sort of hours he works and crap like that. He replied "Well i really shouldnt be working here, Im actually regarded as being as bad as Alkida" I just nodded and asked why, Chad went on to say, it was because he is involved with a planet in space. Its a million light years away and the planet managers and he once asked the managers of the earth if they wanted to form an alliance with this planet that his involved with. The managers of earth said that if this planet tried to make contact with Earth, Earth would then launch a nucleur war on them. When they were denied, Chad was upset and stuff, and he said to me that he didnt understand why Earth wouldnt want to be involved.
The whole time he was talking, Im trying to figure out if this old man was serious or pulling my leg. I couldnt tell. He then went on to say he married a princess from the planet and hasnt seen her for 31 earth years because he pissed off her father for marrying his 3rd youngest daughter. Chad has been to the planet hundreds of years ago- The planet has no name- and he doesnt have any photos because they were lost in the past. He also said that he has a house on this planet 3 times the size of Earth, and thats a small house. Chad said that the houses there are actually living beings. You live in them. Like something alive. Not a human being. But if you need assistance, the house would talk to you and sort everything out. He answered all my questions, I was just soo interested in what he had to say.
I asked him if his princess was human and he replied yes. They are all humans living on this planets. The men are the same as ours and the women are all the same exact they dont have any pubic hair. This guy said this with the straightest of striaght faces.
He also said that he cant wait to get back. He doesnt know when it is but he is hanging out for it. He said that he had seen the world when it was just dirt and giant spiders and he was in a space suit this one time and a giant spider attacted him. WTF!!!!!!!! He told me that in a single jump, the giant spiders could jump 90,000 times their lenght. In a single jump. He also said that he was scared of the palms that fall of the palm tress because they look like giant spider legs.
My manager finally got back and heard the tail end of him telling me stuff. After he left, she started laughing so hard with her hands over her face. I looked at her and said asked if he was for real. She said yes. He is 100% serious and really believes it. When my manager first started working here, she was told by her boss that if Chad started talking about space stuff to her, just ignor it. So he is been believing in this stuff for years and years. He even has a cowboy hat with a bronze circle emblem on it. So there must be something on the net. ill look it up and let you know. Im going to try and get some more info from him. Ive never come across someone like Chad. He told me heaps more stuff.
What I have told you sounds like something from a book but Chad was for real and it blows my mind.

HASH HOUSE HARRIETTES
Wednesday night i was invited by my gym buddy Shaz, to go on a Hash run. I had no idea what i was in for. She'd been a few times now and loved going, so i thought i would go with her. I got picked up and we went to a house in a suburb id never been to before.
We got to the house which was about 15 minutes from mine and went upstairs. I could hear a lot of talking and giggling. Once I reached the top of the stairs, I saw 18 women from around the ages of 35-85 years old all dressed up in daggy wedding outfits and dresses. One lady was getting remarried and she had a madonna like wedding dress on with a vail and condoms tied to it. I felt totally out of place. I shook hands with a few of them and said hello to everyone else, paid my $10.00 and then was introduced loudly to the whole group and they all smiled and nodded politely at me.
The lady that's house we were at, announced that we were off and we were going for the HASH walk.. an hour or so walk around the suburb that i didn't even get the name off. The host would lead the way and I just followed and spoke to who ever would talk back. The walk was full of false starts, where we would be going in one direction and the host yells "FALSE START" and we would turn around in the direction we just came from. I looked this up on the net and the false start is for those at the front to go back, shuffle the pack and meet with the ones at the end. Its a great idea. They should do false starts for all marathons :P - as if that would happen. That's how i got talking to other people. Basically it was a bunch of ladies walking and gas bagging. You could drop off at any time of the walk and go back to the house, where you would wait for the rest of the group to get back. Anyways, so we got back to the house, had some drinks, most of the ladies were drinking wine, beer and vodka :-O . It was really funny to see. We had a yummy yummy dinner and then the meeting started.
Its a charity and they walk and raise money for all these different causes. Every Wednesday it is held at someone else's house, they make dinner, they all go for a walk and then they sing some funny songs that they have made up or got from other hash groups and they go through the events they have coming up and tell funny stories of what happened during the week to them. Jesus that was a long sentence- sorry. It was really good. This group is just for ladies and there was only like 18 but usually there is 30-50 and because the rugby was on there wasn't many at all.
I was the youngest there and felt so out of place but i want to go back next week. They told dirty jokes and had a steel hospital urinal, like a hand held male one. It was nice,clean and shiny like someone polishes it every week, and every week it is given to the host for next week. So this urinal gets passed around and everyone puts a little bit of their drinks into it and the host has to skull it while they are all singing this funny song. They made me do it coz i was new and i spilt it all over me :-O so embarrassed but they all laughed and apparently Shaz did it the week before and spilt it all over herself so that was alright.
It was very relaxed, so welcoming and really enjoyable. It was so cool seeing these grandmothers and stuff doing vodka shots and swearing like sailors. They also have funny nicknames for each other, and you get named when you do something accidentally ridiculous or it could refer to your job or your name, and the older ladies decide what your name is.

They even have a website which isn't kept up to date to often but once Ive been there for a while, i will offer to look after it and update it weekly. Shouldn't be too hard. just a quicky
As we speak, i am waiting for my oven to heat up so I can put in the raw roast beef I purchased today.
Ryan and I have decided that Sunday nights are roast nights and god damn it ill cook a roast! Last week was port.. i did the crackle AMAZING- this week Beef. Ill take a photo and put it on here once all day.
This week is going to be very exciting. Ryans mum is getting remarried and we are going down to Melbourne for 7 days.. CANTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT WAIT. so excited to see everyone. I have told my nunna that i am going to down but not when. so im going to surprise her.
Leaving thursday. I have a feeling monday tuesday wednesday will drag. hope not.

Its done
Hey Guys,
I said I would keep you updated and heres the update. Yesterday at about 3.30pm I resigned from my job and I already feel better. I love the people and the actually job is great but there is also alot of drama that surrounds it. For once its not the people with the drama its the actual job. I did a dog act and resigned the same day the other half of my team (Julie) resigned but I just thought it would be easier for them to look for 2 now instead on one now and one later. I have done the right thing and given them almost 6 weeks to find someone so I do feel better about that. A workmate told me that we spend the majority of our time at work and you should be happy. Also if I wanted things to change and be better- only I can make the changes. So my shoulders feel alot lighter and im really excited to look for a new job. Ill miss everyone at Kosmos and will always be grateful of what opportunities they have given me bu its time to move on and have a change.
Next change on the list- New Husband... JUST KIDDING I dont think I would get through the days with out Ryan..Im always trying to figure out how two people love each other soo much.. like so much it makes you smile when you think of them and you cant be angry at him.. I have one of a kind my friends.. He is one of a kind and his mine... so lucky.
Enough mushy mush stuff..

hate to complain
Why do people complain and do fuck all about it.
I'm one of those people completely. complain complain complain (mostly about work) and just put up with it..
I promised myself i wouldnt get stuck and god damn it im getting out.. whats the worst that can happen.. someone have a go at me.. fuck it. im up for that. Having this new way of thinking has already made me happier..

Been a while. I'm listening to the album I And Love And You by The Avett Brothers.. Not the usual sound i would listen too.. loving it.. Makes me think about all kinds of shit. Particularly how much I want, how I want it now and feel like I'm missing out on something. The thing i want is adventure. OK I moved to Darwin with my new husband but that was almost a year ago.CMON... Now i work 5 days a week and have 2 days off to clean our house and try and get relaxed. Once I'm relaxed I gotta get ready for work. YAY! I want the adrenaline feeling back, uncertainty, no plans, fretting even ey. Mm mm Any Ideas what i can do? I'm not unhappy or anything but I'm lacking motivation and need something exciting to do..

WHATS BEEN HAPPENING-
Came back from Melbourne after Christmas. We had a total blast. It was the first time Ryan and I have been back together. First time for Ryan since we moved up here. He needed a well deserved break. Trying to fit everyone in to see was a bit hard but we managed too. It was great seeing everyone and i loved catching up with my girlfriends from the Posse and my old work.. I miss them so much. Also catching up with family and our 2 gorgeous nephews was fun as too. Cant believe how fast Dylan and Jai grow ey. its crazy That is one thing I now know i totally take for granted. The fact that i don't have the option of seeing family and old friends. Maybe that's the missing out part i was talking about earlier.

1 BIG YEAR OF MARRIAGE-
On the 13th of Feb, Ry and I celebrated 1 great year of marriage. Man a year goes fast. It was an awesome year. Being with Ryan made all the difference hahaha We booked a room in the city for the night and went out for dinner. Had a bottle of wine which was soo nice- it was called Kapooka. yummy We had dinner at Seafood on Cullen and it was soo yummy. i love food a bit too much i think. We were totally full when we left. The next day we woke up late and went to see Black Swan at the movies.. that was good. Swam in the pool and did some sun baking. I need to get this stupid tan off my ankle from when we were in Melbourne.
The whole time we were gone we kept asking each other how we thought Jackson would be.. "oHH he is probably crying at the door" or being all depressed coz we aren't there" I know-losers. We left him alone and we couldn't wait to get back to see him.. It was a great weekend and I am so lucky to be with Ryan its just incredible. He is one of a kind :) i love him

BETTER GO HANG THE WASHING
I can hear the washing machine beeping so it means my washing is ready to be hung.. oh how i love hanging washing. When its a bit windy its refreshingly cool. You never know when its going to rain here. Could be the hottest sunniest day and in a second it could all change. I do love it. Just hard trying to dry washing. When it rains its the heaviest rain and it pours and pours, then it just stops. If the washing gets stuck in the down pour it needs to go back into the machine for a spin or two so i try to race out there and get it off.
OMG the song I'm listening to is called - Laundry Room- The Avett Brothers. What a coincidence. I only looked at the name of it because its a good song and I want you to hear it :-).

catching up
Hi Everyone,
My apologies for being so slack. I know i say it every time, but the fact is, i dont really get much of a chance to up date coz ryan is always on the computer! Anyways im here and you have me.
Well lots has happened since we last spoke.
I got back to Darwin. My beautiful boys home waiting for me. Ryan looking good as always and Jackson had grown so much! was weird as.
In august im pretty sure, Megan and James came up to see us. It was only for a few days but it was AWESOME! we went to litchfield and swam in the rock pools, that place is amazing. I live about 40 minutes away. not far at all. So if you would like to see it. YOU BETTER COME UP!
Not much else has been happening. Oh Jackson got desexed. FUCK ME everyone at my work was like why why, how could you do that... thats awful.. and this wicked chick Jess said " at least let him have his first root!" and ofcourse, i was horrifieD haha. anyways he got it done, without rooting anything. I felt totally bad about it, but it will stop him straying and no son of my is gonna get some girl pregnant before marriage :0) His has grown heaps.. check out these photos and videos

What else. This weekend or next week im going to get my hair chemically relaxed! I need to do something. its driving me nuts. i straighten it and about half an hour later its frizzy.. only gonna cost about $180.00 and i cant wait.. its not going to be dead straight. hopefully it works.
anyways i will load a picture when its done.
well i better be off. gotta feed jackson.
missing you all heaps. and i promise to keep the blog more up to date.

suppppppppppppppppp
Still in Melbourne for the last stretch. I go home to Darwin on Sunday and I sort of can't wait. Its just so cold here. My whole body has gone into meltdown and is freaking out.
Interesting facts.
My asthma is one thousand times worse in Melbourne than it is in Darwin. I didn't even think to bring a Ventolin inhaler with me and on the second night i needed one! and fast.
My skin is showing that eczema loves the cold. My hands are starting to itch and in a couple of days i think the lines on my fingers are gonna crack! OUCHIE!!!!!! Just something that i always had to put up with. ALSO MY FUCKING SICK ON MY FACE is sooooo dry!
I now have a very strange and unwanted love for Kylie Minogue. After seeing her on hey hey its Saturday i am just in love. I bought her cd the next day. I never thought the day would come and its shocking you know. I have vowed by Christmas i will have a kylie minogue body or at least something a lot closer to hers and a lot different to mine. haha I really wanna get into shape now. She is like 40 and looks amazing. See what the cold weather does to you! make you go loco

On the up note thought i have caught up with lots of people. So busy doing everything. Ive caught up with la familigia and la friends. Unfortunately the winter weather has taken over a lot of my friends good health so they are resting it up big! I have been to my cousins Emma for dinner. She made an awesome creamy pasta. She also makes a great lasagna! I went to see some friends play. Raven vs Crow. Enjoyed that! And caught up with a few other mates!
Being back at my parents place, i now realise how much they did for me when i was at home. Especially my mummy. The amount of washing my brothers chuck in the basket and the dishes they use is crazy and annoying. I don't know how i never realised. I used to do the washing and stuff but since Ive been here, every day the basket is full and the dishwasher needs to be put on. what the hell! In Darwin i do washing on the weekend but here, there would be clothes everywhere if it wasn't done during the week.
Ryan has been out field since last Tuesday and I haven't heard from him since Monday. Ahhh i miss him so much. Not seeing someone is weird but not speaking to them and for this long isn't really nice. I guess this is something i will have to get used to but ahhh its hard! i wonder if he misses me. Hopefully :P He is on course and will be eating rashen packs and sleeping in tents. Carrying heavy shit around and probably using weapons. So much fun for a boy!
Well today looks sunny and the washing machine has already been on. I will now go and hang it all. Tonight ill be seeing Twilight Eclispe, with some chickies! cant wait...
OMG I forgot to write about Jackson, That little guy has been on my mind this whole time and i forgot! He is staying with my neighbour Heather. I called her the other day to check on him and he is doing just fine. Eating sleeping and playing. I asked her if she thinks he misses me and she nicely but awkwardly said yesssssss. I know he doesnt and by the sounds of things, he is having the time of his life! I bet he has grown heaps. I cant wait to see him!

Home Cold Home
Hey Hey,
How are you guys?
Shout out to people that comment on my blog. So nice that you even read it. Love you
So it turns out that im back home in ATOWN and im freezing my butt off. I never remember it being so cold. I was looking forward to wearing my jackets and scarfs but i need more than that. I dont have ANY long sleeve tops and only bought tshirts from Darwin so i am stuffed.
Ryan has been on course for the last month and a bit. He has gone out feild as of today for 10-12 days and Im not going to hear from at all. Not even a little phone call. Gonna be soo weird ey. So with that happening and me being afraid of losing my mind, i booked some flights and walah, here I am.
I know you are probably thinking about our child Jackson. He is fine and hanging out with our neighbour Heather. She loves him and spends all day at home, so she was the perfect person to feed and play with him while we were gone. Tonight is the first night neither of us will be there and im finding it a little stressful worrying about him. I know he will be fine though! He has mastered rolling over and high five and shake. I took all his food over to Heathers and she must hear me saying HIGH FIVE JACKSON HIGH FIVE all the time. So asked him for a high five and he sat there so still and put his paw up perfectly, i chuffed like a proud mother. I was so pleased with him, it was a bit embarrassing how rapt i was. haha. He is just the best!
Coming home was a massive decision. Jackson was the main issue in regards to what we were going to do with him. He hasnt had all his vacinations and no kenal would take him in. I was goin to bring him to Melbourne but thought he might get lost or sick because of the weather. And also stressed on the plane. And last of all it was leaving Ryan full stop. Over the last 2 years we have been apart more than ever and even though we have done it a million times, saying bye kills me. I hate leaving him and hate him leaving me. I sorta feel like Bella when Edward leaves. Just doesnt feel right. Being home makes it a bit different and seeing everyone is fantastic. We will be back together soon!
I finally finished Twilight new moon and loved it. I know i always say i want to be a vampire but im sure i just want to be Bella. 2 guys after her, thats crazy. I watched the movie today and Jacobs body... MY GOD. I am sooooooooooo team Jacob and that is for the shallow reason that i like the way he looks and that Edwards six pack looks shitter than Jacobs. I am going to try and read Eclipse before i see the movie but i know its not going to happen ey. Takes me forever to fit in time to read. I am reading though and making the effort still!
Not much else to report. I am in Melbourne until the 1st of August, so if anyone would like to catch up, you most likely have my number or email me! Up for anything!!!!!

Catch up blog.
Ohla everyone. Long time no speak AGAIN!
Sorry for being slack and not posting..
Ive had the busiest couple of weeks and just havent had a minute to myself.
On the 13th of June a few things happened.. I turned 24, my awesome husband gave me some red raybans as a gift, my parents were flying in to visit and we picked up the new addition to our family.. Lil Jackson..A beautiful 9 week old lab x golden retriever. So cute!
Anyways, so this day was hectic.. Not only did we have to pick up Jackson before 3pm but my parents were flying in at 2!
We went to get our child first. Whilst there, I got a comb, some chewing stuff for him, a couple of toys and had to fill out all the paperwork. The girl went to get me a comb and then asked me to go see which one and guess what happened! The most embarrassing thing that could happen to one self. I sorta rushed off, not seeing that beside me was one of those floor weights that animals go one. My big toe slammed into it and i went fucking head over heels and landed basically on my fache'. ( For those that dont speak fluent spanish, fache' means face) So i landed on my fache', raybans went flying... to my HORROR! Ryan thought i was dead coz apparently i lied there without moving for a couple of seconds.. i could have melted into the ground at that second... So i got up, and then made every effort possible to get out of there! But that was a challenge as my husband could barely catch a breath from laughing so hard. Anways we got the dog and the brush and everything else and left. Once in the car, Ryan turned to me and explained step by step what i looked like from behind falling..

He has his puppy moments.. Biting is one of them.. He has crazy sharp teeth, that hurt!!!! So far he knows how to sit, lay down, roll over, shake hands and high five. Pretty cool when he does them all in a row.. Its crazy how fasts he learns. He knows his name and is a pretty laid back kind of dog. We had fireworks night last week and for the 2 weeks before they were saying on the radio to leave our dogs in the laundry because they will be scared and could ran away.. But not Jackson, he wasnt even fussed.. and actually slept outside. So proud of him ahha..
Since we got him, he has also grown heaps.. bit scarry. He will probably get as big as my friend Bouchers dog, Charlie.
Enough about the new love of my life.
My parents can up to the top end on my birthday, and what a treat it was having them here. Not only did they do the odd jobs that we didnt get around to doing but mum cooked.. and i miss her cooking. They only stayed a week and my heart broke all over again when they left. So shit saying good bye. But the house wasnt completely empty when they left. My brother Stephen and 3 of his mates were also up. They stayed for like 10 days and that was great too.. Loved having people at our house. Its been just Ry and me for 4 months now and i loved showing them around Darwin.
What else has been happening.
Work has been pretty busy. Its fun though. Leanne the girl i work with has started doing office pranks on me. Like sticky taping the hang up button on the phone, so when i answer it, it keeps ringing. Also she said someone had called when i was out and i called them back and it was the fucking sexyland up here. I got her back with the same shit and made her call the place where that dickhead manager that used to work with us, works now. I laughed soo hard. I have to come up with more. Tomorrow im going to swap all the tops of her stamps around so she stamps the wrong thing. Lame I know, but i must get her back. She is really awesome. She actually has a pet pig named Willimina. My boss keeps saying he is going to eat here.. Awful person.
Ryan is doing super good. Working so much lately. They have him doing this course. I cant really explain what its for, but basically he will be able to teach people on weapons, pt and other stuff. Poor thing has been working weekends. Love him to the moon and back.
Speaking of Moon, im still reading twilight, new moon. Im almost done, its taken me ages. Again i wish i was a vampire.. but that will never happen.
Unfortunaltely i have missed out on some of my friends birthdays..

We went to get our child first. Whilst there, I got a comb, some chewing stuff for him, a couple of toys and had to fill out all the paperwork. The girl went to get me a comb and then asked me to go see which one and guess what happened! The most embarrassing thing that could happen to one self. I sorta rushed off, not seeing that beside me was one of those floor weights that animals go one. My big toe slammed into it and i went fucking head over heels and landed basically on my fache'. ( For those that dont speak fluent spanish, fache' means face) So i landed on my fache', raybans went flying... to my HORROR! Ryan thought i was dead coz apparently i lied there without moving for a couple of seconds.. i could have melted into the ground at that second... So i got up, and then made every effort possible to get out of there! But that was a challenge as my husband could barely catch a breath from laughing so hard. Anways we got the dog and the brush and everything else and left. Once in the car, Ryan turned to me and explained step by step what i looked like from behind falling..

He has his puppy moments.. Biting is one of them.. He has crazy sharp teeth, that hurt!!!! So far he knows how to sit, lay down, roll over, shake hands and high five. Pretty cool when he does them all in a row.. Its crazy how fasts he learns. He knows his name and is a pretty laid back kind of dog. We had fireworks night last week and for the 2 weeks before they were saying on the radio to leave our dogs in the laundry because they will be scared and could ran away.. But not Jackson, he wasnt even fussed.. and actually slept outside. So proud of him ahha..
Since we got him, he has also grown heaps.. bit scarry. He will probably get as big as my friend Bouchers dog, Charlie.
Enough about the new love of my life.
My parents can up to the top end on my birthday, and what a treat it was having them here. Not only did they do the odd jobs that we didnt get around to doing but mum cooked.. and i miss her cooking. They only stayed a week and my heart broke all over again when they left. So shit saying good bye. But the house wasnt completely empty when they left. My brother Stephen and 3 of his mates were also up. They stayed for like 10 days and that was great too.. Loved having people at our house. Its been just Ry and me for 4 months now and i loved showing them around Darwin.
What else has been happening.
Work has been pretty busy. Its fun though. Leanne the girl i work with has started doing office pranks on me. Like sticky taping the hang up button on the phone, so when i answer it, it keeps ringing. Also she said someone had called when i was out and i called them back and it was the fucking sexyland up here. I got her back with the same shit and made her call the place where that dickhead manager that used to work with us, works now. I laughed soo hard. I have to come up with more. Tomorrow im going to swap all the tops of her stamps around so she stamps the wrong thing. Lame I know, but i must get her back. She is really awesome. She actually has a pet pig named Willimina. My boss keeps saying he is going to eat here.. Awful person.
Ryan is doing super good. Working so much lately. They have him doing this course. I cant really explain what its for, but basically he will be able to teach people on weapons, pt and other stuff. Poor thing has been working weekends. Love him to the moon and back.
Speaking of Moon, im still reading twilight, new moon. Im almost done, its taken me ages. Again i wish i was a vampire.. but that will never happen.
Unfortunaltely i have missed out on some of my friends birthdays..

All about Reading
I have never been much of a reader and I am making a huge effort to read everyday. No matter what it is. At the moment I am reading Twilight New Moon, and I plan to read the others.. In the mean time I ordered a few books online. A couple by Haruki Murakami. Ive already read a couple of his and another one called Love Letters of Great Men. Carrie on Sex and the City was reading it one time. You may remember this, she was in bed with Big and she was using his glasses.

When I went to order it, there was a paragraph saying that the show just made up the book, and once she was seen reading it.. all these authors scrambled love letters by famous old men and made the book. I ordered it anyway.

Hey Babycakes!
How are yous all? Im good...Bit tired but all good
Last night I went out with 8 ladies. I only knew one chick named Peta and the other ladies were all new to each other too. I had an awesome night. I thought what the fuck im gonna get drunk. If they don't like me big deal but i was determined to make an effort and not be shy. So I got to Peta's and she poured me a wine. Im not much of a drinker AT ALL but the wine was nice. She filled the glass so i needed about 10-15 minutes to slowly down it. But within a couple of minutes of pouring it the bloody doorbell rang and she says to me " SKULL IT!" im just like FUCKKKKKKKKKK. So i did and it hit me instantly. I said goodbye to Ryan and told him I might be home sooner than I think at this rate. Got out side and i couldn't find my shoes.. I hear Peta telling her 7 year old Paris to take my shoes off and to give them to me.. Poor Paris, she was so disappointed that she had to take them off but more so that they were too big.. She spoke as if they were supposed to fit her.. i wasnt sure what to think. So i climbed into this fancy four wheel drive and there were 6 ladies and the male driver. They were all so nice and we were off on our way to the Casino.
Darwins casino is better than Gold Coast Casino but wayyyyyyyyyyy smaller than Crown. Like there is no comparison. We had dinner at the Dragon Court, an awesome Asian restaurant. Whilst sitting there drinking more wine, a bright blue t shirt catches my eye. It was sooo bright it hurt. I couldnt believe the odds of who it was. Out of the small amount of people I know here, the one person I was happy to never see again, walked in carrying his baby.To my COMPLETE HORROR it was the MANAGER LEE that i posted about yesterday. I nearly fucking died.. I turned to Peta and had a hissy fit and she just said dont worry.. drink more wine... What are the odds! Anyways he left and the night continued.. I was pretty tipsy when we finished dinner and we headed to Sandbar, a bar/ restaurant. There was a live band for a bit and then the dj started. We danced and drank danced and drank.
I thought alot about the girlfriends I left behind and missed them alot but being able to go and and dance was really fun. I wondered if my new friends had ever had a jam donut shot so I bought them all one and none of them had ever had one, which I was stoked about coz I love them... and most of mi girls doo so it was great.. They took the shot and LOVE IT! They talked about it all the way home and it was a total hit.
Some great things came out of last night.
-Got to dance and sing the night away.
-One of the girls is a hair dresser and can do my hair alot cheap than what I paid at the salon early yesterday. $260 something.. She was shoked I paid that much.. I was so excited when she said she would come to my house and do it!!!
-And finally I realised that you could never be too old to have fun. There was an 80something year old man at Sandbar the whole time we were there. We left at 2.30am and he was STILL THERE.. I had to get some footages of him dancing.. We called him Poppy... He is in the stripy white shirt. What a legend!!

SO MUCH TO TELL
HELLO BLOG READERS.... HOW ARE YOU ALL??
Well I have been busy. Hard to believe I know but i have! My last post was about our pet gecko Freddie. Would you believe I havent seen him since I posted about him. Maybe Seona was right. I must have scared him with the flash.. Poor baby.
Anyways so much has happened since I last posted.
WORK- Work is going really well. The manager I was hired by resigned because he thought the Leanne and I were keeping him out of the loop. He actually sent us an email saying we made him look bad and shit like that. At this point he was in the same room about a foot away from us and typed this long winding email to us. I turned to him and just said you could say it too our faces. I wasnt really offended by it but was a bit pissed that he was blaming us for him looking bad, but Leanne went freaking stupid. It was like when your mum just has enough and youre at the point where you realise you shouldnt have said or done what you just did. She went off and things went sour from there. She yelled like my mum would and I couldnt look at her because I thought she was gonna smack him or something. He deserved it. You could cut the tension with a friggen knife! I replyed to his email in a really mature and professional way, and ccd it to the owner of the business, who was away in Sydney. This manager named Lee, was a fucking snake in the grass. He blamed us for a few things that we didnt do but "totally had our backs" pfft whatever dude. He wouldnt have sent the email if the boss was in town. He even waited till all the reps were out of the office and it was just us 3. To make things worse he did this at 9.30AM and the awkwardness continued until 2 managers from different sections of the business asked to see him.. Obvisously he shouldnt have sent this email coz he came back out and printed off his email.. took it back for them to read and then came back and printed our replys. Like i said, mine was pretty tamed but Leannes wasnt. After a while he came back and Leanne and I were called to the office. And they asked us how we felt if he left and shit and i just said i didnt trust him and cant be stuffed with his shit. After everything we said they sprung it on us that he resigned and we were so happy because he was a pain in the arse and throughout the whole company people were sayin the same thing. The good thing to come out of it was that the boss told the other managers that if it came to the point where it was me and Leanne leaving or Lee, that he would have to go. Ive been there for about a month. How nice is that! Anyway its been so good since that dick left. Leanne is the funniest. She is probably like 35-36 years old and has such a great sense of humor. We always turn to Lees old desk and ask him questions and shit.. and then we laugh to ourselves. Sad thing is that Lee probably thinks we are missing him and that the company has gone to shit, when in fact it hasnt! As if it would. Kudos to Kosmos Foods I say!
SEWING CLASS- Didnt go last week. The skirt is coming along very nicely though. Im doing a really simple pattern but it is hard to read. Starting from nowhere, I can use all the help i can get. There are some older ladies that have sewn before so they help out. I might be getting a sewing machine for my birthday from my parents so that should be really good. I hope to make some great stuff!
VISITOR- We had a visitor from the sea come stay with us. Ryans step brother Mat sailed into Darwin on Monday and we hung with him a couple of nights. The stories he had to tell. My god. He started off in Perth, sailed to Sydney for a couple of days, In those couple of days he flew to melbourne and came to our wedding. Then headed back to sydney, sailed to New zealand, then i think singapore and cambodia, than Darwin and now he is on his way back home. 4 months at sea. Crazy. He was saying that they have to salute the ship every time they get on and off the ship. They said they "throw it a goffer" haha how funny. I asked him the most obvious question anyone would be thinking. "Where does all your rubbish go?" The throw most of it over board! YOU GREENIES WOULD BE HORRIFIED I KNOW!!!!! Things like paper, cardboard and other stuff that eventually can break up gets toss over the side. They also throw cans.. That part i wasnt too impressed about. How can they throw cans.. they don't break up? Anyways, the other stuff is put in bags and taken off the ship once they dock. He was also saying that if their ship got hit by one torpedo it wouldnt sink their ship complete but it would break,hang on shadder your bones. The vibrations that would hit the ship would be massive. He did say that the ship can take up to 2 hauls full of water before they would be in serious trouble. How exciting.The thinks you learn. I do doubt you could spend 6 months on a leaky boat crowded house, cmon.
NEW FRIENDS- Well tonight I am going out with Ryans boss' wife Peta. Thats her name.. PETA awesome and some of her friends. Im pretty sure most of them are all mums but who cares. They seem to drink like they are teenagers so im up for it. Ill take what i can get and Peta is really nice so i dont mind. We are going to the Casino. I havent been in there but apparently it is really nice. There are some awesome bars and resturants so it should be real fun!
TWILIGHT- Reading the second book. Very interesting. After watching the first movie ages ago i keep using those actors faces in my head while im reading. I keep wondering who i would think they look like if i didnt have the movies to look at. Just a bit from half way. I keep saying to ryan that i wish we were vampires so we could live forever together. If i were a vampire i wouldnt hunt people but just say i was in bellas shoes and ryan was edward i would expect him to change me. I would hate him if he didnt. I would do it to him god dam it! What are the odds that she meets Edward who is cold as ice, a vampire and then knows Jacob who is as hot as fire, a werewolf . Only you Bella.
I think that is about it. Another big blog. Nothing else has been happening. I thought I would take a photo and let you see how i look after living here for just over 2 months.

FREDDIE
This is Freddie.
He is our adopted child and not by choice. He is some kind of baby skink and he rules this house.
I think he is trying to communicate with us. He shows up in random places around the house. And some how defies gravity.
He has no boundaries and no sense of privacy. Scaring me as I was on the loo this morning! Oh Freddie!
Where will Freddie be next. Watch this skinky space..
