Crocosaurus Cove

Howdy!!

Today we went to the city and in the main street there is CROCOSAURUS COVE!!!!!!

It is filled with massive crocs that have been caught from all over the NT. Its a great place.. the have platforms so you can see over the crocodiles enclosure and then you can walk under and see them swim and stuff.. they are huge!!! I cant image what I would do if i saw a massive one..

I just missed this croc floating like vertical.. was so pissed off... he just hangs there for a bit



This one stayed like this with its mouth open the whole time we were looking at him.. i wasnt sure he was alive coz he was sooo still.


They also have reptiles. This one was a starer.

This lizard thing was stuck on a log.. i put an arrow where the log was.. it was the funniest... he was waving his arms like a crazy person and was swaying from side to side.. eventually he fell and went back to what he was doing.. he avoided all eye contact after his embarrassing moment.


there he is shy as anything.. his tail was sooo long.


Soul mates.. there were hundreds all this little crocs all lying on eachother.. it was a love pen.


This is an olive snake.. thats probably not right but the presenter kept saying it.. they gave him a huge rat to eat..and there my friends is the rats stomach going in the mouth.. ryan wanted to be sick.. the lady showed us newspaper clippings of a snake that had eaten a wallaby.. and it took 8 hours for it to swallow the whole thing.. and one snake that they actually have there ate a jack russel dog and they couldnt bring him out because he doesnt eat rats.. has the taste for dogs. The snake ate the dog in march last year and since being at crocosaurus cove he has only eaten 2 rats.. the dog would last 2-3 years and he wouldnt have to eat anything else...scary..



no no thats not his tounge.. its the rats TAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!


It was really cool seeing everything there. we are going to take anyone who visits there because the crocodiles are just so huge its crazy. cant wait to go back.. they are like dinosaurs
